Ferries Servicing Mallorca
Most of the ferries in Mallorca go from the ferry dock
on the western end of the Paseo Maritimo. There are 2 terminals, one for
Trasmediterranea and another for Baleariaa and both get very busy .
You can buy your ticket up to 30 minutes before the ferry
leaves but be warned there are often long queues so it's best to get there
at least an hour before.
There are both normal and high speed ferries available,
check online for availability. The high speed ferries are often cancelled
in bad weather but you will be bumped to the ordinary ferry and may get
a cabin thrown in if you are delayed overly.
Ferries to Menorca also travel from Alcudia in the north
of Mallorca.
