The mild winter and spring weather in Mallorca combined with its terrain make the island an ideal destination for both amatuer and professional cyclists.So many cyclists visit Mallorca that Palma airport now has special cycle trolleys!

The terrain in Mallorca is such that there is something for everyone. For the fitter there are long mounain ascents followed by stunning descents into beautiful valleys. For the less fit you can travel along flatter country lanes for miles with very little traffic. Or cycle along the sea front from Palma, over 20 kilometres of cycle paths along the beautiful Mallorca coast.

The leading professional cyclists in the world come here every February to compete in the Trofeo Mallorca which counts towards the World Cup.

Free bikes are available from many of the underground car parks in Palma, so you can park up in the centre of town and then use a bike to get around, or even cycle out along the coastal cycle paths.
