Mallorca Seasonal Weather Information

Mallorca has nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine per annum, ranging from an average of five hours a day in winter to as much as twelve hours in midsummer. In the summer the weather is gloriously hot and rain is extremely infrequent. It starts to get consistantly warm in Mallorca around the end April. May brings the start of more consistantly high temperatures that hang around until late September but even in early November Mallorca can still experience some very pleasently warm days.

During the winter time the weather is very variable. Some days may feel like late spring temperatures but others can be very chilly. Snow is not unheard of in Mallorca but you would be very unlucky to see any during your visit. With an average of five hours sunshine a day in the winter you can more often than not still sit in Mallorca´s many cafes and enjoy a coffee or beer, however if you're unlucky (or lucky depending on your point of view) you might experience one of the BIG thunderstorms that can hit the island. Whichever time of year these show up they can be pretty spectacular affairs!
