There are literally
100's of beaches in Mallorca varying for the huge white
expanse at Arenal, complete with palm topped umbrellas,
the wild white expanse at Es Trenc to tiny deserted
coves, (yes it is still possible to have the beach almost
to yourself). A lot of the smaller coves are only reachable
by boat or a bit of a hike. Our personnal favourite
is Portals Vells, where if you're not a fan of sand
you can throw a towel on the flat rocky shore and snorkel
in the clear waters where if you're lucky you'll spot
octopuses and cuttlefish. |

beds, and a great surfing school can also be found here.

Sa

|
The
road down to the beach is situated between Fornalutx

to find this one. Right at the mouth of the rivers Lluch
and Gorg Blau, this beach is one of the most spectacular
beaches on the Island. With clear waters and breathtaking
scenery, the beach offers the setting of a perfect day.
The walk up the rivers is one not to be missed although
it is not possible during the winter after rains. The
beach has also laid its claim to fame for the set of
a few movies and commercials. A definite must.
